How do you add Viewfy to Claude?

On claude.ai, add a custom connector under Settings, then Connectors, and paste the Viewfy MCP URL. In Claude Code it is one terminal command. Pick the Claude you already use. Both talk to the same Viewfy account and the same approval queue.

  1. Settings, then Connectors, then Add custom connector.
  2. Name it Viewfy, paste https://api.viewfy.ai/mcp, and click Add.
  3. Click Connect and sign in with Google in the window that opens.

In Claude Code

One command in your terminal:

claude mcp add --transport http viewfy https://api.viewfy.ai/mcp

Then run /mcp inside a session to sign in.

What can you ask him in Claude?

Read and approve the reply queue, run the audit and preview an SEO fix against your repo, and pull yesterday's numbers. He answers from your Viewfy account, and anything that would post, publish or open a PR still waits on you.

Claude Code or claude.ai?

Same server, same account, same approval queue. Web and desktop use a custom connector. Claude Code is the one terminal command above, then /mcp to sign in.

Do I need a paid Claude plan?

Custom connectors are on paid plans. Connecting and reading Viewfy are free. Some writes need a Viewfy paid plan.

Where is the API key?

There is not one. Auth is OAuth in the browser. The token expires within the hour and rotates on its own.

How do you put him on your product?

Paste your URL and he reads the site, writes his brief, and starts finding the threads where your buyers are asking. You approve, he posts, you ship.
